I am one of those people who has trouble getting into fifth gear. Almost every time I try to shift from 4th to 5th, I get a loud revving sound but the tranny stays in 4th. Usually if I give it another shot it will go in the second time. I have tried the tip suggested elsewhere on this forum of holding up the shifter with my foot until the gear changes, and that works some of the time.
Any suggestions for how to fix or at least minimalize this problem? It isn't a huge deal and I could certainly live with it but if there's a good suggestion I'd love to hear it.
